CMDC and the CWAC Business Park:

The Charlotte Mecklenburg Development Corporation (CMDC) was formed from the work MG&A completed for the Charlotte Chamber of Commerce seeking to reverse the ongoing negative economic trends within Charlotte’s inner-city areas.
The CMDC has become the vehicle for implementing the economic strategy designed by MG&A for the development of a series of new business parks located within key inner-city areas. After prioritizing over 28 potential business corridors, a feasibility study and development analysis was completed that resulted in the development of a 34.5-acre “City Within a City Business Park.”
