CASE STUDY: DISTRICTS

Elizabeth Avenue District:

MG&A created a re-development strategy for a deteriorating six-block urban district. The district consisted of approximately 67 land parcels and more than 45 individual land owners. Today, over 78 percent of the total land envelope has been assembled and is controlled by the partnership.
The project will exceed over 250 million in development costs and will include approximately 250,000 square feet of ground level retail, 350,000 square feet of commercial office space, more than 800 residential units, a hotel, and over 3,500 structured parking spaces.
The project includes a unique public, private and institutional partnership including a major hospital, community college, the City of Charlotte and Mecklenburg County as well as the private development team.
