The Rock Hill Gateway: MG&A began creating its framework process in Rock Hill, South Carolina, in the early 1980s, where 13 of 14 textile mills had closed and unemployment was over 23%.
Seeking a strategy, Rock Hill built a framework involving public, private and institutional partners that proved extremely successful.
As a symbol of its dedication to become a regional leader in the Charlotte Metropolitan Area, the city erected a Gateway, which won national awards.
